A friend of mine loaded me up with some Alien Fresh Jerky for my birthday!

I had always seen the roadsigns and wanted to stop at the little store in Baker, California near the worlds tallest thermometer, but never had the chance.  Now I could try it for myself!

The three kinds I got were

HOT


Buffalo


and Teriaki


my favorite was the Buffalo. 



It still has the soysauce marinade that I am not a huge fan of, but the meat had a great chewy texture and was cut into large thin pieces.



The next best was the Hot.  It had large hot seeds, but the marinade was really good, and the pieces were slightly "chunkier".  I opened this bag first, and it was gone the next day!  I especially liked these 2 jerkies because there was no sugar.

The teriaki was also good- and eaten very quickly I might add, but the only problem was that with the sweet marinade, it almost had a sauce in the bag.  A sicky sauce.  Make sure to grab some napkins if you are a teriaki fan!

All in all- I liked this jerky.  Next time we drive to Vegas- we're stoppin' in Baker!
